spot on!
but then again: only because you are paranoid that doesn't neccessarily mean they aren't after you...

Hey now! How do we know that the universal extractor isn't a virus or Trojan?h.vox wrote:just download Universal Extractor and extract.Penis Arcade wrote:You guys installed it? Can you post an extracted .dll somewhere? Thx.
try for example http://legroom.net/software/uniextract
it can also extract other exe files - for example electriq posihfopit eq.
it gets used quite a lot here

Basic EQ tip: highpass all that don't hit subs, usually all but bass and kick

Wow, ahjteam - that's quite the presentation! May I ask why you went to so much trouble to demonstrate the sound of this?
(holy low end on "A"!)

its 2 am and I was bored. and I like the plugin. Besides it took only like 25 minutes to do so it wasn't that much of a trouble.bduffy wrote:May I ask why you went to so much trouble to demonstrate the sound of this?

I really like this plugin!!! I used it on a remaster of a live gig. It tightened up the low end by narrowing the stereo image and added depth and dimension by fluffing things up pretty nicely without giving the squish sound. I used the "A" setting and only turned on 2-3 bars worth of YouWaShock, the default "A" setting comes almost 1/2 throttle, just a little dab'll do ya shock wise for a full mix.
This might end up being my fav new plug of the year - of course it's in a chain containing fav plugs from previous years! Great maximizer job here...it made me take Ozone3 maximizer out of my chain - now that's saying something.

For paranoid people out there :
I found that using these two free online multi scanners solve most of my paranoia regarding viruses -

For the record - i found my fears to be unfounded in regards to this plug - it is what it is, a VST plug. Nno foul play.

Ah, but how do you know that isn't true about Synth1, Livecut, Blockfish, TriangleII, or Crystal? Or for that matter, z3ta+, Kontakt, Logic, or ProTools? The entirety of music software could be a grand conspiracy to wipe your hard drive and drink all your beer, you would't know.
I swear it was Blockfish who drank all that beer which was still in my fridge two hours ago...

the word on looptalk, straight from gol's mouth, is that this is an imageline leak / marketing exercise for their new compressor/maximiser plugins
