What do you mean? I've found some free refills on a music magazine... I have to crack'em first?

They're a closed format, meant to be used in Reason only and meant to be "sealed" to give Refill makers some control over their material. You can't legally access their contents in other programs.

Awhile back (a year or so), a dude posted a Refill cracker, but it was pretty difficult to use, didn't always work, and was VERY illegal, not to mention frowned upon heavily on KVR...

I would recommend asking about it on a let's say more "morally flexible" forum like DOA...

Y not just use Reason to get at the parts you need. Do not use tools to open Refills! They took lots of time and energy to be put together!
