Qué :?: :-o

Libsndfile is just a utility library used by keFIR, You do not do anything with it beside it exists on your drive in the same directory with keFIR.
To use keFIR You need impulse response file (usually wav's, check here http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=107337) which You load into keFIR.
Then keFIR filters Your track with the loaded impulse response.
Thats the only way it works for me in FL Studio 7.
trying to start keFIR (mono or stereo):

So then I click on libsndfile.dll and get this error.

So then I try to open keFIR again and it works.

Oh , right, I thought You are loading it into keFIR, sorry.
I don't own FL7, but I'll ask my friends and I'll try to fix it.

First thing You can try is to copy libsndfile.dll into windows directory.

Yeah, that's it, I've just tested it with FL7 demo version.

just dropped all the plugins in my vst directory and it is working fine in fl studio 7.0.2 but i don't hear the modulation though i loaded a IR wav into it

I've just run keFIR (not Kefer :hihi: ) with Reaper 1.853 and works OK, both mono and stereo version.
So, to be sure, download keFIR once more and make sure You have additional dll's installed (as in previous posts).

btw, Reaper looks cool
Sorry for the misspelling and what might have seemed like a lack of gratitude but I was in a hurry to get out the door when I was posting here yesterday.

keFIR is a great plug in spite of my inability to get Reaper to recognize it. Your plug is essentially the real time upgrade to SIR that many have been hoping and waiting a long time for that has not yet arrived and then again may never still. Thanks for making keFIR and especially for offering it as a free VST. Real time convolution is very CPU intense but it is certainly a nice option to have if your computer can handle it.

I do have all three dll files and I have tried it with all of them in my vst folder and then again after putting libsnfile.dll in C:\WINDOWS. I can't imagine why it would work for you in Reaper and only in Chainer for me but that seems to be the deal still.

I am running XP and like I said earlier the plug does show up and work fine in Chainer.

Hi hedgehog!
Just a blind shot, in your current setup does the Chainer use the same VST folder as Reaper :?:

Set mix to the max :hihi: , gain as u like (mostly works between 0.25 and 0.50), and full length. If u still hear nothing then give me a link to that IR, so I could check it myself.

Hi. I can't get Ableton Live 6.0.7 to recognise keFIR either. Its all in the right place it just doesn't show up. Same with Reaper, as someone else mentioned. I'll try it with some other hosts tonight if I can.

I've prepared an alternate archive with keFIR and all required dll's. It's on my website, use "Download DLL + libraries" button.
