If you have any conversion utility, I'd gladly post them.
Sascha,

Any chance you'd be inclined to post these? Good bass samples for hard rock are pretty much the only thing I'm missing now...

No biggie if not, and thanks a bunch either way.

No problem.

That's a self-extracting archive. Inside you find the samples, the 2 EXS patches (one with, one without release samples) and a Kontakt 1.5 patch (I skipped the release samples for Kontakt back then because for whatever reason it wasn't working properly).
I also have a softer version but it's not that useful. And a picked version which isn't of much use either (unless you're doing punk).

Oh, fwiw, the samples are all looped fine, so mapping them in whatever sampler should be no biggie at all, just that I had to use some finetuning in both the EXS and Kontakt, from what I remember.

That's funny, I couldn't disagree more. Especially if this guy is wanting to play some indie rock. Or any sort of rock, for that matter. Or blues. Or R'n'B, funk, reggae, hiphop, dance, whatever.... I may not be hearing right, but I think it's quite common to rapidly repeat notes for rhythmic effects and such. Not necessarily just straight 8ths Pixies-style stuff but also more complex things as well.

Anyway, OP may wanna try 4Front Bass Module. With the right processing and reasonably clever programming you can get pretty good results.

I think I was talking about really rapid repeats. Such as in 16ths at, say, something over 120BPM.

Thanks a bunch, Sascha,

I'll let you know as soon as I get to working with them!

You're the best for doing this! :)
