im looking for some new sample cds, can anybody recommend me some real quality recorded samples, particularly acoustic. just had a clear out of all the crap on my pc and it hasnt left me with very much, so i need to get some replacements,
style or genre's irrelevant, just want quality

I buy from a few companies when I want samples. Now even though you said genre isn't relavent it's still all pretty vague. Do you want single hits like drum hits or do you want loops or do you want multi-sample material for samplers like kontakt exs24 etc...I'll point you to a few places but I'm not entirely sure what you really want.
For probably the largest selection of loops I would go to Big Fish Audio http://bigfishaudio.com I've got many products from them in a lot of styles and many of them are done in styles that are primarily or entirely acoustic. Think quality and quantity. They also have many VI's but it doesn't sound like you want virtual instruments
Also check out Zero-g http://www.zero-g.co.uk/ they too have many good library choices. They don't have the selection that big fish has but you may find something that suits your style.
I also love spectrasonics too http://www.spectrasonics.net/ but they are now focused on material that only works with Stylus RMX or other plug in VI's which is really a cool player but again I'm not sure if your looking for something like that.
