Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a midi controller that looks like an actual synth (meaning: has an envelope section, filter section, 2/3 oscillators etc..)
Sort of like the Novation X-Station, only without the keyboard and audio capabilities.
I'm tired of not having parameter names next to my knobs and faders...

I'm not so sure anyone makes what you want.The best solution would be to build your own using the Doepfer DIY products from here http://www.doepfer.de/home_e.htm or the MIDIbox project from here http://www.ucapps.de/

ouch! seems a bit too hardcore for me...
I'm thinking maybe the Roland jp-8080 could do, I wonder if it's any good as a midi controller.
