have you ever thought of making a metering plug:
peak and average rms
spectrum meter
stereo meter
etc.
only the commercial one (like visualizer or inspector pro) seem to have a full feature set, but they are quite expensive and, what is more, got challenge/response copy protection. so I guess there is a market for a reasonably priced metering plug, and looking at your product most things needed to do this seem to be there already.
