hello,
i want to set up a samples folder (don't need something too big ), i was wondering if theres anything like the zero-g nostalgia vst available http://www.hollowsun.com/vintage/nostalgia.html
but as a pack of .wav or sf2 files

if you own the wusikstation DangerousBear.com has a great set of sounds called Fuel3 that has a ton of vintage synths and beat boxes

Why not just get the AKAI and convert to SF2 using CDXtract or a similar utility? Even the demo of CDE can do it.

...too bad, they were available once in sf2 format. but why don't you buy nostalgia - it has its own player and some additional instruments as well as new mappings and effect programmings...

, im considering some options now, beeing searching , ain't sure yet what i will do, been checcking the hqs vls from Dash and the ones that were mention here too (hollow sun and retrogadgets). my beggining idea and my fav is to use samples in the sampler i have, , was trying not to use another vst, i will do more search and then decide...

Dangerous Bear Underground used to have the HollowSun vintage collection in ReFill & Sf2 formats, I even have the old free demo soundfonts from this collection. I don't know what happened but it seems to be no more available:

...they were - I was lucky to buy a copy before they were discontinued (because of Nostalgia, I think)...

...then where's the problem? just get Nostalgia and use it in the best of all samplers!!!
