New orchestral tune, mostly Miroslav Philharmonik

Hi,
Started on this song less than 4 hours ago and got a bit tired by the way it turned out to be, so I just quickly finished it, hehe... Anyway, I'd be very happy if you would listen to it..

It is very Zimmer meets Kamen I think, at least those were my inspiration as far as "groove" and harmony...

The Choir is Spectrasonics Symphony of Voices, the rest of the orchestra is Miro, plus there's a synthpad from my trustful XV-5080 just to fatten up the track a bit, try to make it sound hollywood, ya know..

Starting to work on my mixing-skills soon. I know I do almost everything wrong when it comes to reverb (just play Miro right out of the box) but its hard to know what to do when having no-one to ask. Hope I can afford a decent reverb soon, as I only have the stock SX3 (and Philharmonik reverb which is limited within the player). Downloaded the CSR-demo but I forgot to try it out before the demo-period expired... Bugger! Anyway..

Oh, and I want to thank Squids and everyone else involved in Philharmonik for making such an excellent product. The more I use it the more I like it!

Pretty cool stuff - I really like the way you've done the dynamics! Great sound overall - has a lot of depth. Is it true that you're really using no EQ at all?! I may have to try that - I've been EQing the heck out of every section individually, and then even some on the Master buss to cover up my mistakes.

Rellik: No, I did not use any EQ at all. I'm very clumsy when it comes to mixing so as a rule I never touch any EQ or fancy stuff... Maybe I ought to start learning how to use it though, but I feel that tweeking around with too much stuff gets in the way of what is trully important, which of course is to try to make some good music...
