Hey Precision guys,

1st of all, gotta say I love your sample sets! The quality is great. I own a few sets by now, so that's speaking from experience. I find your choice of alternative instruments exciting and refreshing. Browsing through your list of products is like walking around in a big candy shop! :D You offer so many cool, interesting, different and tasty sound sets. My latest favourite is the Lyra. It's simply  :!: I'm really curious about the Zither now and this leads me to utter a small complaint...

I miss that you have so few demos of solo instruments. When I'm checking out the Zither now, for example, I get a demo including DAF, Swedish KeyHarp, Angelic Vocal Pads and ARTificial Drums & Percussion. Sure it's good, helpful and inspiring to hear the Zither in an arrangement. *But* I think it's just as important to be able to hear the instrument solo. It says in the product description: "We have sampled both the open strings and the fret board strings and a lot of sound effects made by the zither". I would love to hear examples of this! I've been positively surprised by most of the sample sets I've bought so far. That's both good and bad: Good to feel pleased of course. Bad that you don't really know what to expect from the demos.

Keep up the good work! Looking forward to your upcoming sets! Promise me to never go mainstream! :D

Oh, I often drive through Rimbo btw. It somehow feels a bit surreal to think this is the home of all the cool inspiring Precisionsound sound sets. But I suppose you don't necessarily hang around Rimbo town centre for your musical inspiration, or do you? :o

:hihi:

Hello!

Thanks for the kind words :)
We will try to get a clearer demo for the Alpine Zither in the future. I agree that it could be good to hear the instrument by itself and in a context, both is important so you also hear that it blends well into music (tuning etc.) and that is what the libraries are for, in the end.

We will try to deliver both in context and solo demos as often as possible.

Best,

Lars,

PS! It's a small world and no Rimbo centre is not that good for music inspiration  :D
