Well I can't explain how it sounds in words, can I? One way to find out is to try demo. Another is to make mp3 comparison which I'll make one day to show

I know how this sounds, we tried when we build Spread for the very first time and we checked all kinds
of voices, its a nice idea to add the amount of voices.

I just realized that Cronox could have new school modulation (like Surge or Massive) not Albino. This is a good example where list of parameters is growing and needs to be either grouped or sorted somehow. Otherwise in next few versions that would be a complete mess to find desired thing. Effects wet parameter modulation. Actually a lot of ideas that I've posted around could be used in any synth. If it's something in common of course.

You refer to Albino 2, no ? Albino 3 looks pretty sorted to me.

No I refer pretty much to Cronox. In version 3.0.8 I have all destinations listed almost randomly in just a row. Not even close to Albino 3. Besides I find mod-matrix too small

...I only meant becasue you said "...not Albino", but I think Albino is doing nice in this respect.

Yes it does. Although I think mod-matrix is last centry but I can live with it. Mainly because of the sound.

Some of the FabFilter stuff uses drag/drop mod too. Twin and Timeless. Very intuitive. Demos downloadable.
Kind regards.

Really for me the most helpful thing would be importation tools for samples/samplesets. Keymapping tools etc. How about drag and drop ?
This is the one area where it is not a one scheme versus another issue but at present these is no scheme at all and it is extremely time consuming.
If tools were available to make this chore easier I think you would see a lot more soundsets available as those which became Sophistry.
My two cents

Another useful feature would be, if the arpeggiator would keep running during the release of a note. For example: If you have the arpeggiator modulate the filter of a sound and you have a long release (amp), the filter modulation will stop once you take your fingers of the keyboard.....some kind of "arpeggiator in release"-button would be an important feature I think. (if you modulate something by LFO, it will behave like it should -> it keeps modulating during release)
