:) I'm glad it's raising smiles (and soiling underwear) anyone found the cow yet?

for more laughs and skidmarks, here's a little audio demo that the audiofudge has put together

That demo is great - it sounds sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much more dynamitey, cowey AND belly for the addition of this VSTi..

I applaud you :)

Damping control can be useful, and the cow is great. This is the best cowbell vsti I've ever seen!

If you are looking for future upgrade features, you might consider that a cowbell, like a cymbal, has a very different tone depending on where it is hit. The rock drummer will always hit it the same way (same with cymbal), but someone going for the latin percussion feel might want a crossfade between two samples or something for that expressive cowbell solo. :D

Did I mention the cow is awesome?

Post

hmm... that's a point, it probably could do with extending - after all, we wouldn't want this branded a one-trick-pony...

This one is great, as a cow! Thank you for this gem!

I've just found the cow, it's a very authentic moo! :hihi: Brings back nice memories, I grew up in a farm. :D

that demo is hilarious..

interesting plugin there... I was wondering when someone would make something like this :hihi:

WOW! it sounds like a virus :D :hihi:

Damn, feature requests already? There's only one way to play this thing: find the C3 key on your keyboard, then hit it very hard repeatedly and in time to the music. any other way and you're doing the cowbell a disservice.

If you want to achieve a Javanese gamelan type of sound you can turn the volume up and play low velocity notes only.

We may do a version 2.0 eventually. The ulitmate goal would be to include varied articulations and round-robin sample triggering. Maybe record the cowbells in Dubly surround sound as well.

Hi, KVR. :)

That is the best demo I've heard in my life.

I have a feeling that this could become the new 'One Ping Only'

Weird, I never thought anyone other than Dover would release a VST under the title "more cowbell"
I'll try it.
