That chorus from Betabug is also pretty good for this synth.
Anyway, i get denormals even when the osc are on but nothing playing, denormals go away once there's something playing.

This is interesting. While playing with the Flintlock emulation, I had an idea for a more complete Juno emulation - I even came up with the name Uno although it was a bit of a no-brainer.
The oscillators sound good to me, just a shame there's no chorus (again). I'll make some presets and post them...

Analogue or digital – which is better? There's only one way to find out... FI-I-IGHT!!!

Thanks for the tip. Should be fixed now. I hate this denormalisation stuff...sweet_trip wrote:Anyway, i get denormals even when the osc are on but nothing playing, denormals go away once there's something playing.
I've just released v1.0.1.

Can't imagine where that one came from...Modeler wrote:I even came up with the name Uno although it was a bit of a no-brainer.

in the sample mp3 section....the vst saw hiccups on the attack of a note (at 00:08 )
i've noticed this problem also in other vstis and i've been told this is normal....but why this is not present in the real juno saw mp3...there's no hiccup there so i dont get it.

Hey this is pretty nice. Never tried out the TAL stuff before. I agree with whoever it was that said the oscillators were too agressive though...could they be toned down a bit?
Either way, nice work. Chorus would be fantastic!

there are two overlapping notes at 00:08. The hiccup is the saw of the next note that starts with a low volume and grows very fast with a non linear function (declicker). That's no problem.
I think, that's the cause because people buy real analog synths_starcraft_ wrote:....but why this is not present in the real juno saw mp3...there's no hiccup there so i dont get it.

thanks but i still dont get it.
why are the notes overlapping? isnt it mono mode there to prevent that? (or did u play those notes in poly? if yes then its understandable)
this is a huge problem for me....for example in xhip on very low notes using a simple saw.....in monomode and sequencin notes in legato style i get these overlappin hiccups which occur on some notes (usually the lower ones) more than others.
aciddose said its cos of the fast envelopes(so i should just up the attack and release a little)....and that analog are just the same....but i had chance to play with a pro-one and i NEVER heard these phasey overlappin hiccups.

Cool, I will check this out. Despite my user name Ive never used a Juno 60, I have always wanted one.
Are you aiming for a perfect emulation? I think it would be good since there isn't one out there (apparently, I wouldnt know).
