I played with the patch on my real Juno and I don't think it is using the saw wave or the noise generator though.

Yeah, I just threw on the noise to add a bit of character and make up for the lack of built-in chorus on the VSTi...

This is the last example I am posting before my real Juno-106 goes back in its flight case for the next however long.

Same patch as the "Just Can't Get Enough" example earlier (no chorus used, but IMHO very characteristic of the Juno), but with slightly more articulation. Early Vince Clarke stuff aside, this is taken from Bach's "Invention No.1 in C Major" *

You're right, nothing does bass like the Juno-106. Some things do it in different tasty ways like the MS10 kritikon mentioned. Also a Waldorf Microwave might make you pee in your pants.

If i remember right the JunoX from ReFx it's an emulation of the Alpha Juno that's a lot diferrent than Juno 106.
I have a real 106 back in the 90's and for what i've heard the best emulation was the Creamware U-Know-007 that at least capture the feel of the Juno (i don't think you can do a "carbon-copy" patch seeting the knobs like in the real but you can get that well know Juno sound).
