Well im not quite sure im in the right place posting this but here goes
i find myself often quite frustrated by the lack of an initalized preset for a used synth or fx plugin , my suggestion is quite simply to create a database of intialized presets for all known types of synths etc .
people are always talking about new sounds and cutting edge technology but until you take a simple sine or sawtooth sound and actually synthesize it into something new you will never feel content and will never feel whole about your making, a blank canvas is for me the best way to start a great drawing so let's intialize!

All synths should have an easy way to get to an initial preset. This annoys the piss out of me!!!! It I try a synth demo and it takes me too long to click off all of the effects and get to an initial patch, I just ditch the synth and never use it again. If I have to crack the manual just to figure out how to get a clean sine or saw, then I'm already pulling my hair out. It has seriously been the deciding factor in not buying several synths. Developers take notice.
Seems like everybody just wants preset machines.
