I think it does this already..ouroboros wrote:I really want one that will slice a long waveform up into single-cycle samples.
1st..

and then..

This should do the trick..
I'm trying to see if some scripts can be created for keyboard shortcuts and also to quickly auto convert selected regions to markers to loop points vice-versa.
I'm wondering if there was a tool to auto record Pascals? Maybe someone can create this using paxCompiler embedded in Delphi, Kylix or Borland C++ Builder (going to ask some DEVs to see).. I will look into this. Maybe theres an easy way to create these without having to learn the syntax, specifically for Edison..
I have no idea why IL would not put a script record feature into Edison in the 1st place! :X It's like their teasing you with this feature..

I know that this works for beat slicing but I haven't figured out how to automatically detect and mark single cycles to export. Have I missed the obvious again? My goal here is to take a very long pad and slice it into a hundred single cycles waves to be used in a wavetable synth.Lagrange wrote:I think it does this already..ouroboros wrote:I really want one that will slice a long waveform up into single-cycle samples.

You don't need any compiler to write Edison scripts, as they're scripts, interpreted by Edison.
You just need to know the pascal language & look at the few examples. Right now you can't access everything, but if there's something you can't access from scripts yet, we could make it available.
