i've no idea how to call a midi track with a vsti into Reaper...
but plug-ins scan is ok here. (all oxytocin version)

right, it works fine on XP - i'm talking about Vista (32-bit). it used to work great but for about a week the builds have been crashing all hosts on vista.

ok, i will check from synthedit official support forum (yahoogroup)
and watch if specific problems occurs with vista.

OXYTOCIN updated
- VCF2 & VCF3 : KF (key following) added to res.

i've removed the scope module.

I have encountered the same problem on vista with some of my project
where the scope 3 or rh scope modules are used.
If i try to load a vst containing the scope module, the first time i
se an error message, but at the second try i can load the vst.
I think there is something to change inside the scope 3 and rh scope
modules code to make it compatibile under windows vista.

brilliant! that fixed it. is there an end in sight for development or is it still just a work in progress?

i was missing this wonderful synth so much these last few days.

unfortunately, this third party module can not be fixed, because the author
seems off-line, and required C++ knowledge (source available)
I will publish XP and VISTA release now. It's an useful feature
but not essential.

I've updated the oxytocin web page.
Now you can download XP or VISTA version.
The only difference between this two release is the "scope" included into the XP version.
I recommend to download the winrar archive.
Same #version.

I have heard of Scope 3 but never seen/used/played
with it.

1) Could you tell me what it is ?
2) What it does ?
3) Why/Where would it be used ?

Hi Etric,
it's essentially more flexible than original Scope.
One of these nice feature is the time adjustment to see very slow signal (LFO, adsr)
RH have build a custon version without "decoration" .
Scope3 (with source) is available from www.synthedit.com module page.
RH version from SEG.

which problems can i encounter whether i use only the "dll only" version or instead the "rar version" including the SE settings?

Hi dreaddd,
be quiet, no problem occurs

When you use the .rar archive, you have a subfolder already unpacked.
In this case, the files inside are 50% smallest (2.5MB, and so fastest to load).
When you use the pure dll version, the file extracted are not compressed (5MB).
