Room variations for reverb. This could be applied to all synths.

I don't know why all people want a "Reverb" in the Synths, i think this is totally stupid, i knew no single musican who is using the Reverb of a Synth in a Music Production...

Thats right; its somewhat odd situation. In exampe I have to hold back our sounddesigners (you are an exception in this point) in using the Reverb on each and every sound. Of course, at first glance the sound sounds "better" or more "ready to use", but generally you wont need reverb at all in a instrument. However, have a look at RM IV features thread, even there a reverb is requested.

I know, whenever a Developer is asking about some new features, people were coming up asking for a Reverb, that's stupid. Look, if you are using 10 Sounds out of an instrument, no one is using 10 Reverbs, you have to use only 1 Reverb and that's all...

Peter,

The reason sound designers use reverb in their presets is so that preset hoars (spelled wrong on purpose) and the buying public gets impressed by what they hear. Yes, reverb is individual as to taste and opinions vary widely. Yes, dry samples and dry presets allow the user to use that sound in their studio enviroment, whatever that may be. However, as a preset designer myself, I do tend to use a small amount of reverb and delay on most presets (depending on what I am going for) knowing that the user can EASILY dial up or down more or less of each. That is why I would RATHER hear a good preset with wet effects instead of dry - they simply impress people more. Professionals know to turn it down and add their studio reverbs (or vst FX) on the channels they want to add it to and NOT use a synth reverb. As long as the reverb or FX are not BUILT INTO the actual samples, it's no big deal. If someone has to gripe about turning a dial or two, they are way too sensitive or have too much time on their hands.

I would love to see more presets and expansions for my beloved CronoX.

Mike

Yes, I guess thats the perfect explanation (no sarcasm, I mean it). So probably all is fine :-)

Ah, presets, Oh you will love it, we are about to about 300 new and excellent presets, many use reverb on it. And hey, this best is: you wont have to pay for it. Give us a few more weeks.

Single trigger button for legato.

If you mean what I think you mean that's exactly what I wanted to propose :)
Instead of triggering the sample from the beginning everytime you hit a note when playing legato in monophonic mode, trigger the sample only on the first note. I'd like to load vocal samples and play my own melodies for example.

Another one is oscillator sync when two oscillator generators are used.

...and pleeeaze...proper destination names! Why isn't "time" called "time" in the modulation matrix???

...and I'm sure there's a couple of more things.....I'll probably post again soon.... ;)

Greetz,

Another "vote" here for saving and loading modulation matrix(s). Also , some kind of way to import a midi file to a modulation matrix would be nice to have as most of us have sequencers with some nice midi editing tools that are easier to use than entering numbers in a list.

I'd still like to see more options for the Schrader oscillator - in particular control over playback direction.

Currently it only plays forward, options for reverse, forward/reverse and reverse/forward would negate the need to prepare samples for use in the Schrader generator.

'Start' and 'End' for Time-Sampler as destinations in the mod-matrix. Been playing around with them in realtime using my midi controller - lots of fun ;)
