those are great collections. when I first went looking for something along these lines years ago those were the only ones I could find. I just always felt that they didn't go far enough. or at least not as far into the absurd as I hope to take this project.

This is reminding me on another hand that in such cases it could be sometimes very useful if your used convolution engine could adjust the frequency of your IR before loading

I don't know if you're like me, but i use in space designer to change the sample rate to see how the IR behaves one or two octave down, for instance, usualy spectacular while it's still keeps on beeing realistic at some degree

I'd dream of a convolution reverb that could change sample rate( both half-step by half-step + fine tuning for instance ) because they are many cases in where there would be interesting on focusing the raisonnance on a particular scale

Giancarlo told me that their Nebula is or should be able to do it, but unfortunately for me , this is actually a PC only creation

anyhow

Volume 3 is now ready for your Convoluting needs.

This library contains impulse responses of the following objects:
Large Plastic Bin
Metal Bucket
Pilsner Glass
Plastic Cooler
Plastic Party Cup
Small Metal Pot
Small Plastic Container
Small Star Trek Glass
Small Wooden Drawer
Wine Glass
**edit**
with a Bonus Dual Stereo Wine Glass IR

You can download this and previous volumes here: http://www.intelligentmachinery.net/?q=node/126

I'm counting on Pantsdown to do an Ann Coulter in a Pilsner Glass demo for me...

;)

You are very welcome!

My favorites in this batch are Large Plastic Bin and Small Metal Pot. I was really pleased with the pot. I hadn't expected so much of the metal to come through, but the way the reverb is rankled with metallic vibrations is divine...

The downside is that I'm running out of things around the house to capture. I'm going to have to start shopping for more stuff!
