yes, it sure looks interesting! :) , thanks.

If you are interested I have some samples that once were available for downloading at Hollow Sun. For some reason, an old soundfont I made with those doesn't load in sfz.

Post

Perhaps you can also manage to find the free Stylophone VSTi somewhere...

Here are the samples as downloaded from Hollow Sun a long time ago:

hey Vonbrucken! I've had the vst working on my intel machine for years. ya put the stylophone.dat file in C:\Windows directory...I actually have it in both locations: windows dir and my vst dir... don't know if that matters, but my setup works using chainer and using FL5 (frankly- the precisionsounds ones are great! i don't bother with the vst anymore but it IS quite fun ...the 'vast array of factory presets for it' are worth the price of getting the damn thing to work on your system... but beware: they all sound sort of alike :hihi: 8) )

yes i wanted to say the .dat files not the dll , it loads fine but no sounds impossible to move anything on the GUI , are you talking about this chainer ( http://www.xlutop.com/html/chainer.html )blortblort ?

hi v. , you have to create a folder named "windows"
in the c: if your windows is not located at the c: and if its not named "windows", then copy the .dat file there and you will (worked for me) hear sound, the problem is the gui is , i guess , just a pic and buttons don't work.. so i deleted and prefered the samples.
once again thanks for the samples!

Absolutely. Good quality material. I have a bunch of their stuff, and they specialize in unobtainium. :)

There's a fat retro instruments bundle, too, that has some irresistible material, including stylophones.

Speaking of which, don't ignore this one:

yep- that's the chainer of which I speak...and nope, the GUI does NOTHING... however, you *should* be able to hear the sqauwky tone when you play you controller... at any rate- I would agree with all that precision sound has that stylophone sounds you're looking for. I have all 3 retrogadget packs. They rock.
