I'm in need of a simple midi device which only has to be capable of one thing. Changing the midi channel with the press of a button.
Now you might be thinking: "my korg X5D can do that".
But next month I have to preform at a vintage party with a band. So I am using a nice Hammond B3, but for some extra samples 'n stuff I will have to use my notebook. It will be hidden ofcourse.
So on top of the B3 I want to put some old yamaha keyboard with only a midi out and no options to send any midi commands like "programs change" or the options to switch to another midi channel.
So is there a device on which I can plug in the old yamaha and then use the device to change programs and midi channels, and then connect that to a soundsmodule or notebook?
