I made a new clean version of this thread that is authored by Darkstar. The thread was too important to lose his help :)
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=183621

This thread will be for posterity

[Thanks also to the Mods, especially Darkstar, for helping out with this]

Post

big work, Soma, thanks !

I have another Browser bug to submit :
- On some machines, the browser doesn't display folders in A>Z order ;

Post

wowzers !
Cheers soma.

Wow, thanks Soma!
I always hoped Jorgen had his own list about all the stuff coming up in this hyper-active forum, otherwise too much would get buried in the depths of the threads...
So if he didn't write it all down by himself:
Here is the place to look...

I'm sure he has his own list too. That's part of the mystery that keeps us all inteterested. :p

is the freeze bug in the 1/6 (latest beta) in your list? i couldn't see it,

if you freeze tracks at any other sample rate then 44.1 then the frozen tracks are out of sync,

also frozen tracks are unfrozen after close & reopen, but the files remain on your hard drive unless you manually delete them

I can't see a reference to not being able to delete references to audio files in the Audio Pool.

Also - the fact that if you right click on a file in the browser you get a blank pop-up menu.

I'm not sure where you'd file both of these in your list - or whether you would consider them just not developed yet, but for what it's worth...

[edit: Caleb, Hosetly I missed those. They are both true. I'd really put those in the unfinished catagory more than an issue. I'm just trying to be consistant myself.]

Obviously, there is a lot of stuff I've read and confirmed that I filter out because It hought it was part of something that hadn't been started yet, and I tried to commit to stuf that was unintended.

I'd rather try to keep this list focused so that true bugs and inconsistancies get the attention (perhaps it's a bit too broad on a point or two already).

Thanks for understanding.
I'll open a Browser FR thread for you and quote the above if you don't mind.

Add Folder don't works in the browser of Setup, nor you've got the chance to do it by right click.

The "add" button (unless I'm not understaning you) is there to add a folder to the catagory (samples, plugins, clips, etc) not to add a directory to the HD.
I consider adding directories from XT one of the MANY missing features, or rather helpful FR's, but I'm trying to just include items that don't function as intended or are inconsistant with other finished items.
Looks like we need a rebirth of Browser FR's thread. :?:
Anyway, I hope people don't get mad at my "filtering", I'm just trying to be diplomatic.

You can add folders from within XT2 but oddly enough just from the file-dialogue - so you have to access it (e.g. by pressing crtl+o) and then by right-clicking its right view you can add a folder. Once you have done so it will appear in the browser.

I guess that's what Diek is referring to - and me thinks this indeed qualifies as an inconsistency - agreed? :)

Post

Jens, you are right ;) I hadn't noticed that you could do that is some places.
Added Diek.

Very good job soma :) Hope this helps bug squashing. To me sometimes this whole development looked very chaotic at times (must be the complexity of it all though).

v.1st of june

- modulation wheel is recorded in sequencer, but i cant menage to make the data visible. option to convert midi cc to bezier curves would be cool.
- making a fade-in with the volume envelope clicks at the beginning of the part (audio trak)
