Logitech V270 bluetooth mouse. I take it everywhere. I would not trade it for any mouse I've ever used, portable or not. Even though it's small, it doesn't feel like a typical travel mouse at all.

Ahem, why, I mean, really, why in the world would you want a one button mouse? Rightclick context menus are incredibly convenient in a lot of cases. And for a Logic user, the second tool is just a godsend.

Well, the context menu can be opened by ctrl+click. After a while, I even found it convenient.
Still, with one hand on the key-commands, a second/third/nth mouse button comes in pretty handy.
For my old job, I arranged a bunch of cheap logitech usb optical mice. Worked just fine.

I do of course know about ctrl-clicking, but why would I even think about taking my left hand away from the keyboard/guitar when there's right-click menus?tetraplan wrote:Well, the context menu can be opened by ctrl+click. After a while, I even found it convenient.
And fwiw, I use plain Logictech optical USB mice. Two buttons plus a click-scrollwheel (which I assigned to double-click). They're working absolutely reliable under OSX (you need to install the extra driver, though, otherwise the slow cursor speeds will drive you mad). And I really don't need much else
I would actually like being able to work with trackballs, but I tried them several times and simply couldn't get used to the feel. I may try again one day, though...
And I'd also like a Mighty Mouse, the scrollwheel is fantastic, IMO. But I won't pay over 50 bucks for a mouse, that's for sure.
