wav and sfz... my host has a built-in multi-sampler that handles wav and mp3 so I can build my own sample instruments.

We're doing hundreds of previously unreleased multisampled instruments for download on www.esoundz.com and I'd like to know what formats people are using/wanting the most these days. Of course we'll be doing SampleTank because Sonic Reality is one of the only companies that makes SampleTank samples. But we'll also support other formats too. We might prioritize according to what people want the most. But, also it's an interesting question in general.
Ah, I see that hunk of s**t Kontakt is leading the way
You know, I've been seeing on here for a while now that there would be new Sampletank downloads on esoundz, yet I haven't seen anything new there for quite a while either :?

I agree, Kontakt is overrated. It's a resource hog and it doesn't handle banks and files in a easy, logical manner.I don't know why it's popular. Scripting engine, schmippting engine. Let the consumer/guinee pig do the hassle of developing their software - who's idea was that?
