Love the Sgt. Peppers noisy room sfx.

Unfortunately, the harmonica is out of sync. It's my fault. Although I gave you a 1 bar count in, the harp actually comes in slightly before the first beat of the first bar.
Theoretically, if you line up the count-in so it's exactly 1 bar before the track it should sync perfectly.

Do you need me to send you the solo with the backing as reference?

WICKED!!! It sounds so LIVE!!! Now all thats needed is a singer!!!

Yeah, that would be helpful.

So, where are the singers, guitarists, bassists, flute and cello players? :D Come on in!

jakob wrote:I really like those drums! That and the kind of sentimental organ will do great for a bridge/alternative part. Upload them as separate tracks, please!
sorry for the delay, may still upload the tracks tomorrow?

also I'd like to add a real blues solo

cool!, <grin> no bass yet?

I've uploaded some more crap. Feel free to dump it if it doesn't work.

The brass riff starts on beat 2 so don't cut the silence at the start.

I'm not sure if you know but Gregjazz created a spoof vst called GallsTone. I was one of the idiots that downloaded it. I've been meaning to find a use for it so I decided to do a really OTT solo with it. Please give it some reverb.

enjoy.

@liqih: we got a bass now (thanks, sonarman) :D
@sonarman: that gallstone sounds cool, I'll summon up all my distortion power to give it some umph! :hihi:

What I'd really like to hear is a sort of call-response thing. You know, 2 beats of guitar, then a harmonica response or so, back and forth. I hope you know what I mean. Can I get some volunteers for that? Just record a few stab chords and I'll line them up to sound like you're really "interacting" :D

vocals coming up - had lots of fun with these hehe :D

never did vocals before, so please, any feedback would be great :)

lyrics:

I have a strange fetish
Don't ask me what it is
To keep up my composure
I can't think about that tease

We could arrange a witch hunt
If it will bring you bliss
In the worst case scenario
I'll be begging on my knees
wishing for peace

maybe i should use a metronome next time, i think i might've lost the beat between the 'bliss' line and the 'scenario' line.

.wav file uploaded to jakob. :hihi:

edit: bah, i just noticed i'm out of tune :( gonna re-record

Here's a little stun slide guitar for your blues. I hope you can work it in the mix.

I'm happy to re-record the harp solo with some call and response.

We need a system. Call on the A chord. Response on the D. Free for all on the E, D and turnaround. Maybe twice round?

Anyone want to join me in some Call and Response? (No harmonica players)
