...if not you might get too euphoric...
 :smack:

I swear I went to bed last night thinking: 'OK -- first comments will be something like: "Yeah well Alex's voice at the end of the fourth verse is off by .30cents of a semitone... and..."

:hihi:
I'm afraid I have to pass on that one 8) ; I just love this combination of U 2. I mean both of you !
I'm jealous of you Zeoy for having Alex in your collab and Alex, I'm jealous of you, for heaving that voice. BTW, is that a dist/OD chip you've got built in yer throat or is it the consequence of that "tasteless wine" ? :hihi:

Ciao,

JealousMax... .. . :P
Yes, and I am reminded that you and I are working on a collab and I need to take this opportunity to say that I think it's a killer song -- please be patient with me my goodly friend -- still trying to meld our two styles together tro make it that much more special! I will get there soon enough -- absolute promise. ;)

Thanks so much mate!

I want to add also that kilroy's 'GOLDEN EARS AND PLATINUM TOUCH' is AMAZING -- every mix he touches is absolutely pro in every aspect. HE's an incredible asset to the community here, no doubt. :tu:

Nikos did an admirable job turning all the mush I sent him into a decent mix, and then kilroy added his stunning mastering work. Just ran down and had a listen in the car for the first time -- WOW

ALso Nikos: Those drums man! f**k! :D :D :D

Max eats these wooden oak-chips for keeping his body up-right. I prefer chocolate chips, though.... . :hihi:

Good singing and good playing. The excellent mixing shows the talent off perfectly. Well done guys. Thanks.

Wow!! Just... Wow!!!
Excellent, superb and wonderful on every level to these ears! :D

Great lyrics combined with a powerful tune and top production = a very happy Glassback. A keeper, without a doubt.
Nice job, fellers! 8)

I'm late,
but what to say:
Amazing Rock-Piece this is, and be complemented Alex / Zeoy / kilroy: It is sounding like a fresh work (with some remembarances to good bands like Pink Floyd) in terms of rock and cool vocal expression which helped me to like rock again (great guitars, great singing) 8)

Make an album you two! - whow, the drums - the tension - the lyrics (being dark enigmatic, which I like a lot without understanding completely, and I like mysteries!)

Hats off!!

Thanks Thom

I reckon we were after that 'live' sound and were far more successful than I thought we'd be.

In fact, I have no doubt Nikos and I could perform this live in Athens this autumn -- just need a good bass player and -- but where could we find a drummer that awesome and tasteful??

Cheers & thanks mate :tu:

Alex, when I wrote "jealous", it was meant in the positive way, of course. An alternative to say : " Fooking good :!: "

Don't bother, brother :hihi: , about that old collab intention. IMO it's no use forcing inspiration. 8)
The last days I was thinking of making a new song for you to sing on. Now I've got also a clearer idea of what kind of enviroment makes your voice flourish  at it's best.

See ya,

Max... .. . :P

PS : Is E still your fav key :?:

:hyper: Can't wait!! 'E' will do fine, as well as F#, A, B, & C ;)

But I HAVEN'T given up on Graveyard Love! I am UP for this kind of challenge -- and you may never believe this, but I think about that damn song everyday! :hihi: I won't be giving myself any slack until I make it 'right'.

To wit: I don't know WHAT it is about you two Canarians -- you write the most superbly interesting songs and arrangements -- truly inspired -- but equally as hard for an old, tattooed caterwauler like me to 'fit' into...

That's the BIG reason why I just HAVE to do it! :tu:

;)
