Is there a demo of ManyGuitar available?

Post

Hi
Sorry at this time there is not. One of the main reasons is that ManyGuitar contains 1.5 gig of samples and thereby it is a bit hard to show a decent demo.

We are working on something though that will allow folks to at least try the engines of our products with a small taste of the samples. You'll probably see the ManyOne Demo first, (IN FACT...email me and I can send you a ManyOne demo to try.) and then we'll look at the upcoming ManyBass and our existing ManyGuitar.

Until then we use the mp3 demos to show all our products.
Keep your eyes on our forum and website for official releases of the demos.
Thanks
Paul

mp3 demos are alright except in this case they don't give me everything I need to know. from the mp3 it seems MG is used a lot for strum patterns which is awesome but how is it if I want to do some crunchy power chords and such? Looking for a one stop shop for guitar emulation instead of having to buy multiple products :) Anyway thanks for the quick reply. Will email later about the other demo. Thanks again.

Hi
I fully understand what you are saying. That is the hard part for us though, as we just cannot put 1.5 gig of content in a demo. So even if we have a demo it still would not be able to show the full product.

Also ManyGuitar will acquire more samples as we take it to version 2 in the future. Some of these new samples will concentrate more on what you mention.... crunchy power chords and heavier guitars. There is a bit of this in ManyGuitar now, but there will be more in the future.
Cheers

The WusikSND format is not an exclusive format, so whatever sounds we include in a demo can be used in other products. Not to mention demos of sample-based synths are difficult because they tend to be large in filesize, thus consuming a large amount of bandwidth. It we make light soundsets, does that really give one a good idea of what the synth sounds like?
