for the bass..

1. have 3 saw waves detuned from each other

2. make your amp envelope so it starts instantly and ends instantly.

3. have your filter envelope attack slower not to slow but just right..

what synths do you have? i'll publish a preset..

darn it, the reason is i used the demo of massive to make it, since i don't have the full version.. i'll make it on a free synth or something.. :)

Download fuzzplus (http://www.audiodamage.com/product_info ... ducts_id=3).. and put that in an fx slot..

download this preset for 3osc (http://www.speedyshare.com/297906460.html).. and experiment with settings in fuzzplus..

Just like sb said, detune some saws and use a slow attack on the filter envelope, except also layer a bandpass filter with your lowpass. That's how you get the growl.
