Hi All,
There's been a bit of slippage in the release date. It is now more likely to be the end of this month (May 2007).
Cheers,
John.

I'm gonna grab me a copy of Scanned Synth Pro once it becomes available
. My personal tastes tend toward the more experimental/abstract side of music and this seems to be quite capable of producing very strange textures.
VST PRESETS ---> http://xenossoundworks.com
Bazille, NI Massive, Z3ta, PPG Wave, TAL-J8, RePro, Diva, Spire and more

Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that Scanned Synth Pro is now available. You can also download a demo version to check out the new sound. It's really a lot better for basses than Scanned Synth VST was and the overall sound and stability is vastly improved. Scanned Synth Mini (the free version) is not available yet but it's coming soon.
Cheers,
John.

downloaded the demo and am REALLY looking forward to mini - it's a great lite version IMO - full sound, full randomization. especially for preset users and random junkies that's a great thing for a future.

depending on the demo i will see if i can resist buying pro.
will there be any difference in cpu usage depending on whether one uses mini or pro?

"The synth outputs five seconds of silence every twenty seconds"
too harsh...i want to demo the synth, not wait for it
and it's as crash-prone as the free version when pressing "randomize" in quick succession...(using energyXT and Live)
edit: can't reproduce the crashes now so might have been something wrong with my machine, sorry
the sounds this thing makes are wonderful though

Agreed - it's really frustrating trying to get any kind of feel for this with such a drastic implementation.Colonel Flashback wrote:"The synth outputs five seconds of silence every twenty seconds"

Scanned synth mini is a good idea. I think that you should sell it 10 bucks, and the pro version a little less, about 50 bucks. Thas was my 2 cents.
You can't always get what you waaaant...
