Reversing sample in Cubase

how can i reverse a sample in cubase ?

If by sample you mean an audio clip on a audiotrack you just right-click process/reverse. Simple as that.

if that's a synth or a sampler sound?
do i have to export it to wav and then import it and reverse it?

Just export it as audio mixdown.Solo the track,set right and left locator,export as audio mixdown. You can select import to audiotrack so it automatically creates a new audio track for you and imports it. Then you do the reverse.

Might sound a bit complicated but it really isn't. After a while it becomes second nature.
