it's a kick and snare?

also - how do i make this lead sound?
it's a synthesized sound that sounds like an instrument or it's a real instrument or maybe it doesn't sounds like any instruments and it's synthesized?

and if it's a synthesized instrument or a real instrument then which instrument it is?

It's a kick drum they synthesized with their Nord Lead (1), like in most of their tracks. The lead sound was also made with the Nord Lead, distorted and filtered (bandpass or low + high pass). No idea where the snare is from.

i have discoDSP Discovery V2 which is a emulation of the nord lead 2 and it sounds very similar (i've watched a video review that compares them and they sound almost the same..
maybe u can tell me how to synthesize a kick with this plug or hardware synth? (they both has the same interface)

Discovery is very nice but unfortunately they don't sound very similar. They may sound similar with simple settings, or settings specifically designed to sound similar on both, but the nord lead (1 and 2) has a very distinctive tight, rough yet gentle/even sound with an equaly tight filter. I desperately tried but couldn't make Discovery sound anywhere near the same. With the same (as in sysex patches) or modified settings.

Too bad I don't have a nord lead here right now, I could make a comparison. (I probably will in two weeks or so though, so maybe then

)

The answer is, if you want to get a sound that doesn't sound vastly different, there is no software solution. Only a Nord Lead makes that specific sound.

If you want to get a nice kick drum sound with a software synth, the two I can think of that can make fine kick drum sounds are Minimonsta and Poly-Ana. Not the same kind of sound, but not bad.

There's a new DKS Pro version that will be released soon, and will supposedly have a much improved sound engine. I absolutely love this drum synth, and I think the update will allow to create some very nice kick drum sounds, so keep an eye on that and try it when it's out

the kick is not my problem..
i can use a sample or something
but the lead sound - can i make something a bit similar?
i don't even know what and how much notes are played in that lead cause i don;t know if it's many notes or a few long notes and every note has a long modulated sound

Yes it's really hard to tell what exactly the clean sound would be like, since it's distorted and bandpassed, and actually also has a chorus effect, and it's even possibly pitch manipulated with their Eventide H8000. They use it often to add chorus and manipulate pitches in voices and various sounds. The not too heavy distortion may be done with a Zoom G7.1ut that they also use, but I can't really tell. So unfortunately I couldn't help you with recreating it since lots of sound design tricks are involved in this mangled lead sound

yeah i tried that tutorial a few times but i got a very not-fat sound..
even with EQ-ing it doesn't sounds the same at all

here's the result of the tutorial:

but u know.. even when i made a very very bad kick i have a much better feeling then using a sample that sounds much better than my kick

By modulated pulse I mean the pulse waveform's width (pulse width), modulated by an LFO. Or manually with the pulse width control.

i do have a nice basic trance kick @home... send me a pm, and i'll mail as soon i get there (which is not before tomorrow afternoon, i'm afraid - loads of work, so little time...)
