French - speaking software

i've found this software some time ago,
but i did not work.. just tried the latest version,
this time it did.. so i thought i post it here..

it is actually aimed to be a french-speaking software
for people who can't speak.

but since it makes voice-noise similar to speak+spell
(except this one has a french female voice)
i thought it also might be handy for experimental music creation?

There's also a cool program called TextAloud by AT&T which does quite a few languages (eg. English - British & American accents, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian etc.) The female spanish voice is rather sexy. It outputs 16-bit 44.1 wav files and has been quite useful for me. You just type in what you want it to say and thats it. Sometimes youve gotta to tweak the spelling to get the pronunciation your looking for, but other than that its dead simple and actually sounds quite real.

I know that Virtual Singer by Myriad can sing in French.

Nobody would ever mistake it for a human, until you process it through GlaceVerb or something.

Very affordable and very cool for experimental vocals.

Virtual Singer is quite interesting but it does not satisfy me (It sounds too technical).

Probably there is better solution for a virtual singer? I really like the idea but I wish to have a more real voice!
