come on, mate - both of the Sonalksis-guys have got an url in their signature and you just need to click it and then the thing jumps at you - you just need to click on -> 'Click here for more information about the TBK3 Über Compressor' and then on -> 'Download Evaluation'

it's not exactly rocket-science to find it...

...it took me most definitely much longer to type this as it would have taken you to look for it and find it yourself...
Ahh I see, I was trying to find it on the Digi site. The link in the first post of this thread.

I never thought to click one their sig links.

thanks for being so helpful.

it is even better if you listen and at the same time look at his (-> :o ) eyes :D

Great plugin. Especially on drums. It compliments my hardware compressors nicely. At first I didn't like the controls, but they really get you where you want quickly. It doesn't suffer from the usual plugin compressor weakness. It can give some "analogueish" smack to a kickdrum. Great!

.. wow, really really good pluggie indeed! (now if i only had a wife i would have to explain the bill to .. :hihi: )

Very interesting and very specialized plugin.
It's the pumping queen. :o Until now I didn't find a compressor plugin that can pump THAT much which is cool. :D
The prob for me right now is that I would like to control more HOW it pumps. Mabe I didn't find the right combination of the few controls yet to make it pump the way I want it. Will try some more.
For sure it has some very impressive sounds available.

I agree with the pumping thing.. it would be awesome to be able to control the time constants but then it wouldn't be a "one knob" interface any more. Maybe we could get a TBK3 'advanced' version with external sidechain? Pretty please!! (but first finish those damn DQ/CQmk2 plugins with external sidechain, pretty pretty pretty pretty please!!).

Cheers!

...and my SV517mk2 EQ graphics fix would be cool to get also... :)
Am I the only one seeing this - the EQ curve graphics go bonkers and turn into vertical lines...

I don't recall that ever happening - how do you make that happen again?

Fear not- I'm on that - one of the guys saw it happen and sent me a video! :D
Now TBK3 is out, I'm back on these things - I've already rolled out a few wrinkles, and yours is the very next on my list. With luck it won't take forever (i'm sure it's just something stupid i've done that only pops up on rare occasion), and I can get a batch of fixes to beta soon!

Well.. you don't... it's a rare one. Either it happens for you or it doesn't. :-/

But again, I'm sorry for it taking so long!

I agree - I'd like to!
Alas, I have a list of things I'd like to do as long as my arm, and I can only do one thing at a time :(
It's really no secret that my PhD work is suffering too :( I'm supposed to be writing up. Eeek.
(but first finish those damn DQ/CQmk2 plugins with external sidechain, pretty pretty pretty pretty please!!).
Tell ya what... Help us schedule.

It makes sense (to me at least!) that if we try and do things in the order you (plural) want us to, then we'll be as successful as we can hope to be, right? You've got two items on your list... I'm sure you have some other things you'd like to see. No inclusions of my PhD results (Optimal (quality vs cpu) modelling of nonlinear analogue distortion/saturation/eq/whatever. Results unpublished, (that's what i'm being slack to write up) but looking promising. Models non-diagonal volterra kernel elements too. Ought to be a generation closer than anything currently around. >90dB cancellation is the goal... ;) ) until next year.

Dave.
