I've got a small request. Can it be made possible to turn off the loop feature for good please? I don't use it but with it being on by default it makes it easy to forget and record over myself.

Ack - you're not the only one who's done that aMUSEd. I've been a victim myself.

I mentioned a while back that the object bar would be good for this. On the top left of the object bar where it shows the current "Track" selected, a pull down menu so one can select ANY track would be nice. If one has the MIDI editor window open, it would follow suit when one selects a track within the object bar.Ability to go, within the piano roll, from one track to another without having to go back in the sequencer window to select it.
The only discrepancy i see is when one opens the midi editor (double clicking on a part), the object bar switches to "Part" paramaters. So one would have to click on a sequencer track to view "track" params in the object bar.
Still, i like the idea of being able to select any tracks w/o scrolling through the sequencer page and a nice way is simply adding a pull down menu within the object bar.
I'm better than you. Deal with it.

It should probably be off by default anyway. I don't see the need for it myself.Caleb wrote:Ack - you're not the only one who's done that aMUSEd. I've been a victim myself.

I really miss having a shortcut key for changing the snap resolution and absolute/relative snap.Especially nightnarish since I'm away from home and have a laptop with only a touchpad practically available to me.

Couldn't the default be a Preference? (one of hopefully many in XT2 - have you seen how many preferences Reaper has?)
Then each of us can set it how we want.

rather than having preferences for various default options (like loop on/off), i think all we need is to be able to change (i.e. save a project as) the "New Sequencer" or "New Modular" template. having more than two templates might also be useful.

in another thread, dalor wrote:Hi folx, is it possible to automate BPM in XT2? I'd like to have different BPM settings for different parts.
A Tempo envelope (like in Cubase) would be nice, to have full control of the tempo over time, e.g. start with 120 and end with 130 (the Nightmare of every DJ ).
Thanks!

- Delete/replace component from midi track
- Delete button support for deleting effects in the mixer (maybe show us which effects are selected too)

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm just demoing XT2, but this is the most annoying thing.soma wrote:Vertical scrolling

Anyway is XT2 customizable, regarding colours and the skin?
