I can't help you with that specific sound, but I wouldn't be suprised if CamelPhat has something to do with the sound you want to emulate, as he says its his most used plugin - http://www.camelaudio.com/artists.php?aID=7 If you're not looking to spend any money, you could check out CamelCrusher as that has some of the features and is free.

Good luck,

Having breifly used camel phat tonight I realise that what ramiraz is doing is almost certainly a result of using camel phat. I managed to get a certain dynamic into a bassline that I am working on, and if anyone heard the bassline they would have no idea what I did, it just seems to 'move'.

Essentialy camelphat is fairly basic, but its made up of a band pass filter, multi filter, compresser, 4 x distortions. But the thing is you can apply envelopes to everything, AND mix it into your origional bassline, eg a 30 - 70 wet/ dry signal. That allows you to perform subtle changes that most people would say are a phaser, or a flanger. In my opinion a flanger and a phaser are a no-no for a bassline.

SO having said all that ramirez is somehow using distortion envelopes to produce that sound. I will never emulate it exactly, but I think I have achieved what I set out to when I posted this thread.

Cheers all
