I got a iMac C2D 2.0ghz recently. I have noticed a big improvement over my AMD 4200 machine.

OK ive figured it out. Its the god damn CPU bar in FL and Live which are inaccurate. I loaded up taskman while playing the default demo song in FL and I was getting about 20-40%, the bar in FL was very erratice jumping up and down.

Tried the demo song on my P4 and was getting 50-100% in taskman!!! But the FL cpu bar was less erratic and stabilised around 50-60.

Im fairly happy that theres nothing wrong with my machine now!

Disappointed with Core2Duo performance
