NI Guitar Rig w/Rig Control..any good?

Hi there,

i have just remortgaged the house to pay for an apple laptop and was needing
an interface (i'm a guitarist/bassist/part-time keyboardist).

anyone out there been using the NI guitar rig software with Rig Control?

how is the latency? any issues with dropouts etc..

a friend of mine says he's heard it used in a protools setting, and was impressed...maybe try to demo amplitube, realguitar etc...edit: also Line6 toneport and maudio Blackbox hard/software combos...
