J15 - can confirm that it doesn't look right, looks like multiple things are drawn on top of each other. haven't tried its functionality...
also, "Filter envelope" (synthesizer/sound) is cropped or something, missing half the 'e' in 'envelope and the rest

IS this related to :
J15- On Linux samples are shown in track and drum sampler with full path (in synthesizer too). ?
or
J15- On linux, the "edit all" button is not working and displayed incorrectly.
(and if so, are you using Linux?)

I can confirm that the button is not displayed properly but it is working - just not for the oscillator/modulator parameters with the synth and not for the loop/playback-mode paramters for the sampler - same as in Windows...
edit: also not for the fx- and the zone-parameters - have to check whether that's really the same in Windows...
not sure what Jorgen had in mind when he made though those restrictions - or perhaps it's still just a bug after all.

I have a bug for the synth/sampler to add to the list.
Drag-n-drop multiple presets into an empty midi track and you'll crash XT2 altogether. Pretty easy to reproduce - load up a new sequencer project control-click on a few of the presets that come with the package, drag them onto the blank midi track header and BOOM!

Another one Soma.
If you select segment(s) in an automation envelope (either midi CC envelope or VST parameter envelope) and then use the move buttons in the object bar you crash XT2.

since this seems the right place 
my BR in short:
tracks that are routed to groups and get freezed play earlier than all other tracks.
inserting plugins that have latency (e.g. uad-1 plugins) into tracks that are routed to groups, causes those tracks to play earlier than all other tracks.
tracks that are taken out of a group and routed to the master out again, play earlier than all other tracks. however when the project gets saved and eXT2 restarted, the track(s) play fine again.. until they get freezed or equipped with a latency having plugin effect.. then eXT2 remembers to play strange.

Just a note: I noticed that the browser and setup don't display those folders (when added to a "folder" group) but they did manage to make it into my .inisinkmusic wrote:I still can't select a folder with brackets in his name.

If I select synth and effects folders in the standalone, it behaves as expected and puts the folder in the list and lists the synths and effects in organized fashion.
But if I do it within the vsti within Project 5, the system cpu runs up to 70-95% and spins. I did get the synth folder accepted, but it took 3 tries and the patience to wait a half hour.
After an hour of spinning on adding the effects folder, I gave up and killed the app. When I brought it back up, my midi controller mapping had been dropped -- so who knows what all was going on in that hour.
I mostly want to use the vsti and after 2 nights now haven't managed to get it configured.
Any ideas?

I don't have project 5. Looks cool though.
Try copying your .ini from your stand alone folder to your folder containing xtvst and xtvsti

I got it working by assigning a folder on a fresh start of P5 each time. I will compare the .ini files this evening.
I got the vsti working well enough to compare xst2 to the 1.4.
The vsti response time and redraw are really pretty slow in xt2 compared to 1.4, but for some reason xt2 audio output is significantly louder.
from the other threads, it sounds like the vsti is a work in progress
