When I click Ok I have to enter .xt at the end of the filename before I can save the song.

PS there is a typo in the window - it's "extension"

When I use Save As to save a new song and enter the filename, XT2 pops up a warning.
When I click Ok I have to enter .xt at the end of the filename before I can save the song.

I do not get that.
(For what it is worth I have used the installed once on my system but, uninstalled DL'd the binaries and tried again. Nothing like that happened.)

Does your song have a "." in its name?
I tried to save "test.yo" and it gave me that message.

I'll try changing it; . . .
