How would one go about achieving a sound like this? Any particular synth settings or perhaps a well know soundfont? Only thing I can figure out is maybe some white noise and a gated reverb. Any advice?
I know there was a thread about this but I can't seem to be able to find it, (what is up with the search, anyway??)

That's a Roland sound first featured in the D50. Probably every Roland Rompler since has that sound.I know the JD 800 for example has it.

I think she's playing a triton on
prob a pizzicato patch with some gated revb on it
but SHE does have a JD800 on top of the gray synth.. could be that the insomnia loop is playing on it, but seems she's got the keyboard into two zones with the p sound on the lower half..
I've sampled the pizz from my old jv, but you can probably find it everywhere

Argh! I'm not quite sure what to search for. I's definitely a sample, though, right?

How is it programmed?
My guess is two very detuned supersaws pitched one octave far apart. And low pass filter with short decay.
But I don't know really, anyone remembers a similar patch for any vsti to dissect?
By the way, the YouTube version sounds pretty different than the mp3.
Edit: nevermind, rereading the answers I see it's a sample.
