If you don't find a melodic phrase why don't try a rhythmic chorus ?
The chords in the chorus are: D A D(in octave) G

Just feel free to do it ;-) Perhaps this could be your additional contribution to the cd:
vox and remix by verspers75 ;-)
Personally I thought about a panjabi mc version  I will give a shot soon !

What is the BPM of the track? That would be a big help if I were to remix it any.

EDIT:

P.S. Also, you wouldn't happen to have any of the isolated tracks available then, would you? (for remixing)

No problem ! I will host the isolated drumpart, basspart, guitarpart !
Do you want them with FX or without ?

Cool....you can post them wet or dry...but dry would probably be best.

OK ... but I will post them after the following recording session and I have to drink with the guitarist one or two beer for that he agree with the post of his dry guitar ;-)
'Cause I had to adjust his timing by layering serveral parts and I hope you can use the dry signal !

That's totally up to you...I could use the tracks wet if need be...they'll have been put through the god knows what when I'm done with'em anyhow :D

heya drumity
I'm still here, cold is totally gone.
About the singing straight thing ..I don't think I can do that..I try ed it a bit and its not me..
I guess thats not my style..
hehe I guess I wiggle my words into the pocket..

thats why I thought to just hand the tune to someone else to sing a few posts back.. maybe they can aim the the vocals "straight" like you wanted..
since its down to crunch time..
good thing someone else is working this with you..

cheers

It will be up next saturday or sunday !
I expand the outro and double the chorus (perhaps with new sound).
In addition I will post a version with 12 bars of verses (+4bars pre-chous=16bars).
So I think there will be a version for everyone ;-)

Hey guys !

One quick question !
Who does really need the 12 bar verse ??
It's a lot of work to cut the guitar parts etc., and if nobody will use it I will leave it !

So the guys who wanna sing the track perhaps ya wait till sunday, 'cause then you'll have the final version with expanded chorus and the new outro !

Till sunday ;-)

im good with the expanded chorus..just dubble of what it was from the original..
the verse are cool for me as they are..
I don't plan to singing in the intro anyway.

cheers

btw.
i tuned my guitar a half step down and it was in tune with the guitar on the track..
not that it matters for anything, just sayen. it wasn't like usual tuning.

I don't use the guitar lead bit in the verse bits for any kind of guidance for landing the vocal phrases or melody, i tend to generate my own rythem and melody over the whole of the sound, that probably can explain why don't sing it straight, the vocals an melody usualy end up in a world of there own as apposed to the rest of the band.
