ermmmm... I'm just curious, but does brok landers = Nico Herz?
If so, then I owe you many thanks for all those really great Hypersonic 2 patches.

ni never requested ... we were discussing about massive when it was in beta stage, but, even though they were the ones contacting me, they did not show thatmuch interrest ... so it went out into dust somehow ...
though i like absynth somehow ... so maybe, when the time is right ...
the payment method they use doesn't work for me ...
if we find an agreement somehow, i'd definately do it, like i said, absynth is nice ...
let's see what the future brings ...
in case of minimonsta ... hmm ... gmedia never requested, too ...
i just briefly checked the sound of minimonsta, definately high quality, though i never digged into the possibilities, as this thing eats too much cpu here ...
that beeing said, albino isn't easy on the cpu, either, but peter linsner is a good friend and a nice guy, which i'd support in any case, so that's another story ...

well, i know i know my stuff, but:
1. there's always someone better than you
2. taste differs ... i know a lot of users of the synths i have created patches for that actually don't like my sounds ...
3. when i was starting this buisness i was with no real conquerers, nowadays thats a bit different, there are quite a few sounddesigners that are really knowing their stuff as well, or, to say it like that: they're very successful, too, so they definately seem to nail the head for a lot of users ...
i always try to learn and to stay open, maybe that's an important key ...

...O.K. - I have realised that you're already swamped with work, but what about providers like Pro-Sounds? Or Camel Audio, who have also released two Absynth soundsets (though it also may have been because of the obvious close realtionship between them and Colin Fraser)?brok landers wrote:ni never requested ... we were discussing about massive when it was in beta stage, but, even though they were the ones contacting me, they did not show thatmuch interrest ... so it went out into dust somehow ...

It's a very nice thought - thinking of BT soundsets for FM8, Absynth or the Pro53 (hopefully soon to be Pro-54)...
...btw. I also have the PPG Wave 2.V, too
...but there are also other ways to release soundsets for NI synths - click my sig, for instance

loachm, i've listened to the demo's on the ni site ...
hmm ... i don't quite understand ... there's millions of unbelievable great patches availlable for fm8, absynth and those ...
i'm afraid i wouldn't be able to contribute something outstanding for these synths ...

So when will these presets be released. I see on Linplug website, that there is a set called "Albino Bigtone Ambient Signature Set" and it is not new. I doubt it if you are talking about a new set?

now, to avoid missunderstandings in the first place:
bigtone ambient signature set is made for albino2 with just the feature set of albino2, but works without problems on albino3.
the new set, called "bigtone ambient excursions", is only for albino3.
not for albino2. it won't work on albino2.

Anybody know any good freeware .mid jingles that I could use while creating some synth presets? I've always found the actual "composing" to be the most annoying thing to do as I do not have any working midi keyboard at home and at the studio I can't really "waste time" with programming synths! I consider myself a pretty decent programmer but doing it at home without a keyboard is just terrible.
Any of you talented musicians here wanna supply me with a bunch of various demo jingle midi files for various genres that I could use?
Cheers!
