You can use Universal Extractor to extract dll from the archive:

is the GUI made with VST or what?
No and no. It's a butterworth IIR filter and the GUI is using Graphics32, which we finally just have ported over to OSX. The next step is to compile an OSX version of this effect, if only I had more time...

do u plan on removing the glitches when automating the parameters?

As mentioned before: No, not in the near future, since it is not meant for automation.

Really cool stuff! I really love using it, especially in Notch mode -

I hate to admit it, but I probably wouldn't have commented here if I didn't have a feature request - I'm a bad person, I know :( it should be enough incentive just to be able to thank you for your great work and generosity, but I have something to point out:

To remove the same area with the notch as was preserved with the bandpass, you have to reverse the cutoffs on the low/high filters. Wouldn't it be more useful to be able to just switch between bandpass/notch at will and still observe the same frequency area?

The simplest implementation of a fix would be to have a button each for the left and the right that merely reverses the cutoff of the high/low filters - very simple to use, doesn't affect any of the current parameters, saves a lot of time having to write down the numbers and then type it/knob it back in (humans don't have XOR swaps :P)

EDIT: I suppose the slope would have to be swapped between high and low as well, with that button - and I haven't read the manual so if there's already a way to do this dont mind me

I still think, your punctuation sucks, and your spelling isn't cool! So there...

Thanks, going to check this. Seems like will be a good tool.

Post

Thank you very much, I'll check it later but I think it will be a "must have" in my vst folder!

Bug :
All of a sudden, when I change the cutoff, or the filter type, it hogs the CPU, bringing it to its knees (100% CPU usage). Its a confirmed bug because this has happened all three times that I had rubber filter in a project. My host is Energy-XT. Please fix this if you have the time. :D

Post

Yep, the CPU's rising after playback has stopped is larger and longer when the dB per octave is higher.
I mean, the CPU usage is low on playback, but rises a lot when I hit that stop button; it is almost like a denormal kind of effect...

Whoops, a denormal bug. Will be fixed within a second...

... done! Can someone please check, whether it's gone (I'm currently working on an AMD right now)? I uploaded the DLL here: http://www.savioursofsoul.de/Christian/ ... filter.zip

doooooooope :D
what you're doing? challenging Togu in terms of quick updates? :P
hehehe
thanx again for fix ;)
