I've just downloaded version 1.4 and now unlike before my vsti performance in Cubase sx2 seems rather high along with clicks and crackle. I checked other synths and have no problems so it's something to do with Toxic III.

Any advice?

Did you use an earlier version before? Did it have better cpu usage?

Yes, seemed to be much better, although I like to get the new updates applied.

Please tell me your system info: OS, CPU, RAM, Audio buffer size and Sample Rate.

How much CPU does it take with... say... initial preset (first in the library which is loaded right after you open ToxicIII) and 4 notes chord? Just to estimate....

Does CPU rises high only after you play some notes, but initially CPU is normal? (this would let me if there are some denornals somewhere).

Thanks for getting back.
Age of fear preset - 60% (4 notes)
My own preset - starts off around the same but increases to 100% as I play.
I have noticed that poly is set at 64 and when I reduce this to 8 it shows about 20% on most presets - but I still did not have this issue before.
