i dont want to sound cocky or arrogant but who would really pay this(bottom link) for a roland tb303...it really baffles me...i mean if i was going to spend almost £1000 on vintage analogue then i would personally go for a jupiter 8 or something with much more scope and with so many good vsti emulating the 303 perfect you would have to be a little crazy?

People are crazy. But at those prices, it's no longer about the synth and has more to do with antique collectors.

One of the reasons I love ebay but rarely buy things off it unless it's got a great Buy It Now price... In the past I've bought synths, controllers, effects and digital recorders off recycler & craigslist, used them for a couple years and almost always sold them for a profit... frenzied bidding can be a beautiful thing!
