I'm kinda torn between what I should enter this year.
Basically, I've got a unique FM synth, and an emu of an ARP synth.
Both have awesome potential, but my VA from last year got me in 20-something place.
Which would you all prefer from me?

----I'll always vote for *unique*, unless someone someday finally models a Fizmo, then all bets on originality are off until I get my hands on a Fiz vst ha-ha.

Yeah, I started out with the FM synth idea as my entry, but then as I was poking around with the emulation it was becoming more and more of a tasty little synth.
But I'll continue and put more effort in my original plan. Plus if I can find someone to do up a banging GUI I'll be in business.
Cheers

don't worry. now that my se sdk is working, i can code a transwave module. finishing up some other stuff and moving. realistically.. 2, 3 months. soon enough. should be able to throw in unprepared files too.liars&ashes wrote:----I'll always vote for *unique*, unless someone someday finally models a Fizmo, then all bets on originality are off until I get my hands on a Fiz vst ha-ha.![]()

Heheh, well now after these few responses I'm back at square one with which synth to give.
Either ways about it, the GUI on both sucks right now, so if someone could draft up a nice Arp looking skin that'd be cool. I'd give the specifics in a PM though, to respect the secrecy part of the Dev Comp.
