Hi,
we're aware of a problem with the online-store. It doesn't touch the secure process in the registered area, but there is a payment radio-selector box on step 3 of the ordering process, where some browser settings can't "see" the radio-selector box. According to our experiences with the software (xt-commerce) there are about 10% of the customers who can't see the payment option in the browser and the order process stucks. This is bad for those customers as it blocks the send button of the order and this sucks.
We haven't found out, what it could be and even the software developer couldn't tell any more details than "it's the browser setting".
Well, of course you can order the bitr products by sending a normal mail to info@backintimerecords.de with the subject "Order" and write the product name in the message field. Julia will send an order confirmation quick as possible and PayPal invoice. This routes to PayPal and you can make your payment. When receiving the PayPal confirmation we'll submit the download links. We're in Europe and it depends on the time zone how quick this will be processed. Usually it's a little while, 30 minutes or so, maximum is a few hours when the order is overseas and it's night in Europe.
We're looking for another solution too. Julia is currently admin the share.it account. We're checking the PayPal merchant options too and our tradebit.com account provides PayPal too, so we'll go into these ASAP. Please consider that we're developing new products rather quickly since a while, so the main manpower goes into the product development and distractions like shop browser incompatibility issues aren't welcome even for us.
The most customers can use the current store without any trouble, that's for sure, but we will try to improve this situation though and hopefully in general. As german company with international customers we need store features like 2 languages, besides credit card payment several "normal" payment systems like bank transfer. For the international customers we need credit card and PayPal. So perhaps someone can recommend a cool alternative to get the bitr products well organized in a easy-to-use store system. We're open for all ideas and hints.
We have a joomla portal, still unofficial, perhaps someone is familiar with this an can upload the virtualstore to the portal. The (still unofficial) portal is here http://portal.backintimerecords.de . We don't have a budget for this, but we can compensate with our products.
