We recorded the guitar directly to the 1616m (HiZ) and through the guitar combos of Native Instruments !
It's obviously the in da face sound

In this case we use the inbuild guitar-FX of the 1616m which are really nice
and in combination with the modified guitar combo it really blow your mind !

But in fact the mastering at the end is what counts and here you can push it to the top !

So you like it ??

well, I like the straight forward construction of this tune..its put together in a simple cohesive pattern, not with changes hitting you from every bar etc..a good track to lay some vocals down. not too heavy on the side of whats loaded into the sound spectrum. its a straight shot rythem track, bass drums and guitar, guitars are in the background punching the groove rather then up front taking over the stage..wide open pocket for a vocalist to bring in a clear picture..

as for the dynamic of the "mood" it doesnt really speak for itself much..IMO its a bit vague to what the "sound" is saying..the images that flow into mind listening to the chemistry working out throughout this riff doesn't show much more then a "stride" ..someone just shooting the shit really in a pub or something of the sort..
but the lyrics can push to something more less with some action going down..but not too serious..not enough drive for anything more so like a riot or something..

maybe someone can pull that off..i don't know..I know i cant

but yea this has potential ..and sounds great!
a singer needs to meet or beat the level of intensity..other then that a singer can f**k this one up easy..as most good tunes end with such a fate *L*
great riff ..f**ked up vocals..
great vocals..f**ked up riff..
great lyrics..f**ked up singer
yada yada

on a serious note..
what your team is doing there is serious and could pan out for good CD's with the right collaborators to this project.

and so far all I see you need is a great balls to the wall singer that can work for you..

good luck on that one..don't give up, keep doing what your doing some one is destined to come through for you.

Alahnee, first of all thxx for your kind words !

But I think you totally misunderstood what my intention was for this tune !
It's not to search a singer for a record deal and become famous all around the world !

I am a professional musician, drum instructor, band coach etc. and I have a certain claim to my music and personally I play jazz, funk, soul, rock, whatever ... music is too beautiful to just limit yourself ! So when I record a cd with bands or projects this will be with more preparation, great musicians and the goal to achieve as many people as possible !

BUT ... my intention for this tune is totaly different ! The guitar player is an amateur with love and balls for rock music !
It was a demonstration what ya can do nowadays with minimal equipement

All I needed I brought with me in an bigger bag

So after the one hour session I said to myself "Wow this could be used for more !"
And so I thought a vocalpart would be great .. mixed together .. and this would be a great birthday present ! So I asked here for you !

So my intention wasn't to be as professional as possible and earn money with it !
Just the FUN to do it !

Now you think that's to much for you (and perhaps others) but I really don't think so !
If everybody think that way ... the birthday present will not be corded

And this would be a big disappointment for me .. only if everybody feels overstrained !

Every version .. professional or not so professional is very welcome and would be cool !
This could be an EP or a smaller CD with many interpretations of the tune !
But in that way my idea will just stay an idea ...

So think about it and I would be glad if you sing your own interpretation and this present will be alive !

Did you have any particular style in your mind when you picture the vocals for this? I mean, 'rocking' and 'ballsy' can cover alot of ground....from Glenn Danzig and Trent Reznor or Motorhead all the way up to Cemetary, Slayer, death metal, etc.

No I haven't ! Sing your own style .. in what your are comfortable with !
That's all what counts for me .. 'cause you will hear it !

So don't let us discuss too much anymore .. just do your thing !
The birthday is in MID JULY and I have to do the artwork and a little mediator file ... and for this file I have to know how many interpretations it would be !
So there isn't so much time left !

Have you downloaded the remix files ?? Are they ok for you ?
Could you do somethin' with it ??

Hey guys !

Time goes by and by ...
Now it's the 4th of july and the birthay is in 10 days ...
So after such a long time there are 3 guys who were interested to help out and I hoped it would be more !
Unfortunately not and it's not sure if my idea will even be realized ... so please let me know if the present can be corded or I have to think about other stuff

It would be very dissapointing but you can't force anything ...

uh..i dont understand..are you saying you want a head count of the people who are doing this for sure?

I'll finish my version by this saturday, I have to finish it by saturday cause I have Family coming for vacation up here from far away to be here from saturday till the end of the month.

so yea..My contribution is in the mix for sure.

No I didn't wanna push somebody !
But it's a lot of work if I have one or two version of the tune !
I have to design the artwork and have to program a mediator file which needs a lot of conception work by anticipant !
If I know it's not possible I have to think about something else ... perhaps I have to take to the search for the "plectrum of hell" ... this would be a killer present !

Also I said you can't force anything ... that doesn't mean it will not worth it ... quite the contrary !

I really appreciate what your are doing and even if ya will be the only one who contributed I could corded the present !

My intention just was to know from you guys who really will do it and IF nobody can do it I had to think about something else 'cause now it's enough time yet !

You said your contribution is for sure and saturday will be fine for me ! So that's cool and I can think about the design

If vespers75 will sing his version and remix the tune and pattonfreak will do his hardcore version

than this will worth it completely !!
