I f you want to hear the guitar rig effect in your monitors while your playing, you can't use the mixer for the guitar input and the Live output at the same time without feedback.
Do one or the other;
- guitar into mixer into soundcard in.
- soundcard out to monitors.
- or you can do the reverse as well.(but guitar going through direct box/mic preamp before soundcard input.)
Think about why you have a mixer in the 1st place.
I don't have mixer probs because I use two. One for outs and one for ins.

There are a few other ways around the internal looping prob, but I don't think it applies well here.

I'm glad you understand that.I sure don't see how you could be getting a proper working effected feed through just by killing the tape in's/cardout switch.
If that killed the feedback loop and alowed you to hear yourself playthrough guitar rig also...I don't get it.

Obviously Annode/Walters, the OP learned from their post to follow their chain and realized how the loop was being created, which apparantly is a bit beyond your capabilities.

What do YOU know about Walters!?!? I think I've read nearly all posts of both, and can't backup your assumption at all.

We all have our humane moments when we hit reply after reading only the first sentence, or mess things up a bit. No need to go ballistic about that...

But AudioRules, I've been wondering lately about this and you seem to be really audio savvy. What's the exact difference (in dB's) between a line level of -10dBV and +4dBV?
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated. Image

Guys please don't fight...:) I learnt to brake feedback loop and problem disappeared... I didnt kill anything there actually, when there is no feedback loop you dont need to kill any in or out... Guitar now plays well thru monitors and get no feedback at all... Thanks again..
