::EDIT:: Mix Updated on 7/7/07 ::EDIT END::
http://www.xt-user.com/node/93
Some XT2 Music!!
this was all done in XT2 with the help of some vst's,
the vocal was stretched to fit in XT2 & most of the sounds are from the synth (the bass being my fav) & of course the drum track was used for the drums
if your a smoke dog or a beer byatch this track should wiggle your toes
::EDIT:: here is the bass preset http://www.xt-user.com/node/94 ::EDIT END::

Another superb then
Seriously, this is the best I heard from you in terms of mixing and production.
I like the beat, it's very full sounding. Some lovely synth sounds too

so it looks like my last two years of tinkering & learning has payed off
many are complaining about XT2 being no good for production but i feel the proof is in the pudding (hence why i posted this track after reading the good bye thread)

....I have no idea what that means but it sounds cool.
I have to agree this is the best from you. I'm not crazy about hip hop/rap etc. (although i am just about complete with some hip hop stuff just for the hell of it) but i was groovin to this.
Bling Bling !
I'm better than you. Deal with it.

XT2 rules! I'm not going back to eXT except to finish some stuff I started with it.

Yeah i really don't get all the groping. I have no desire to use XT1 except as an instrument rack (the mixers on the side are perfect for this IMO).Branis wrote:XT2 rules! I'm not going back to eXT except to finish some stuff I started with it.
Sure there are certain key elements in XT1 that would go well in XT2 but all in due time.
ANyhow....i'm working on an albums worth of material using XT2. So far so good...only two or three crashes but that's about it....SAVE SAVE SAVE YOUR WORK FOLKS!!!!!!

ganjah mon reload!!
nice track
cool how the vocals stratched....was it one big vocal file? i wanna try that
i also agree, xt2 is okay for production. i seem to have less issues using wineasio +xt2 than those running it natively. it bogs the mind sometimes. im having tons of fun with XT2. the way some people complain about it, you'd think it had a "synthedit" sticker on it

really nice mix, not exactly my style. but i'd still move my big fat hairy turkish ass to that beat in the club, for sure. btw, nice that you didn't get lost subject, gives me hope for my upcoming non-liquidity problems (or so, you know what i mean)

Hi, sorry took me a while to give a proper comment, as nowadays I'm mainly a blues guitarist.Maybe the blues came from the fact that ragga/original gangsta/reggae
has now become too corporate(and predictable) under the banner of R'n'B.
Anyways-Very well mixed, there's a lot of decent stuff goin on in the background, but needs a few listenings maybe to appreciate.
Bass-well, with the new synth in XT2, difficult to go wrong.I'm seriously considering taking my massive JBL subwoofer upstairs to try it with this synth (much family opposition though !).
The only criticism is that you have not taken full advantage of panning. It may be considered cheating, but excellent stereo panning can make a crap song good. And ur song is great. Maybe I'm mistaken and my audio lead is not properly connected.
Glad that ur still online. Regards
Edit-did a speaker test and my right channel was not working properly, lead was not properly in ! So I take back the panning issue.
